We are so glad that you have been able to come to BYU and be with the rest of us! We are looking forward to an excellent semester as we embark on the journey for the rest of our lives! Brigham Young University is a prestigious university and only a select few are chosen to partake of the greatness that it has to offer.
The Purpose of this Blog:
- To inform ward members of upcoming events
- To provide wholesome, and enjoyable information to the ward members
- To supply general information for ward members
- To connect ward members to each other
- To encourage ward members to have a more positive outlook on their daily lives
All of the purposes are in direct relation to the 'ward members'. The communications committee will be propelling a diligent effort to make sure all of the purposes, listed above, are met.
In relation to the purposes I would like to list a few blog categories that will be posted on:
(please note that the blog is not limited to these categories & will expand when available)
- Mission Calls ~ Missionary Spotlight
- Ward Member Spotlight
- Where on the BYU campus is...
- Dating Ideas
- Service Opportunities
- Ward Photos
- Ward Activity Announcements, Report, and Photos
- & much, much more!
What we want from You:
We are looking for blog submissions from everyone in the ward. The communications committee will be responsible for continually posting on the blog, however, we want to hear from the ward members. If you feel that you have something you would like to share with the ward via the blog, please email us @ byu.ysa.49th@gmail.com When emailing us, please include 1) Your Name, 2) Where you are from, 3)What you are majoring in, & 4) A title for your piece.
Please note that all submissions must be emailed at least 12 hours prior to the desired posting time.
We are not only looking for submissions but also feedback. Please feel free to comment on the postings, or email us at byu.ysa.49th@gmail.com for any other questions/comments/concerns.
Let us make this year the greatest year ever!
Sincerely,
Communications Committee
